After a slightly disastrous night's camping in the Lizard, 2 friends and I were in need of urgent accommodation. Fortunately for us, we found Nigel and the Orchard Manor B&B. He was able to put us up at short notice in a very comfortable room with a great view and a hearty breakfast. Probus is a little remote, but the garage opposite is surprisingly well appointed, there's a very decent, friendly pub 200m up the road, a great curry house and a picturesque 8km national trail walk which will lead you to the Heron Inn, which is another excellent pub overlooking the river. As a host, Nigel couldn't have been more friendly or accommodating. Thanks again.
Couldn’t have picked a better place to stay. Spotlessly clean. Place throughout finished to a very high standard. Nigel the owner, manager, chef, could not have been more accommodating. If I’m back in Cornwall, I’ll be headed here
Very very friendly host very hospitable also Was on hand for anything i needed, the rooms are up to date with the latest tv that drops form the ceiling. Woukd 10000% stay again when in the area.
Immaculately clean. Obsessive, but that's a good thing! The rooms are well... open plan, so privacy is limited, but they have neen keenly designed. There's an Aga or Rayburn but the facilities are really more for breakfast than for a family meal. We asked for additional kitchen items and our host happily obliged. Excellent welcome and friendly throughout our stay.

Highly recommended. The accommodation was spotless and spacious. I was very lucky to receive an upgrade to the penthouse which was just beautiful. Nigel was fantastic and very welcoming. The nice little touch of having a few beers and snacks in the fridge was lovely. Thank you so much Nigel and if I’m ever in the area again, I’ll be back!
We spent 2 nights at the Orchard Manor. Nigel (the owner) kindly put us up at last minute when we were in a sticky situation. The rooms were beautiful, we had a balcony that allowed us to see an incredible view. We both enjoyed the breakfast cooked by Nigel, a big hearty fry up - worth every penny. The village that Orchard Manor is in has a local shop and a pub. Thank you Nigel for a great stay and being a wonderful and friendly host
